Global Bridges e.V. is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to fostering dialogue among its members from over 40 European countries, the United States, Russia, and China.  With its headquarters at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Global Bridges organizes conferences, study trips, and Global Forums. In addition, it offers its members the opportunity to strengthen their worldwide network by maintaining contact with one another, sharing information, and organizing regional Chapter gatherings.

Program Assistant (f/m/d)

Eligibility: Recipients of an undergraduate BA degree are eligible to apply for the Program Assistant position

You Have:

  • Superior writing skills: it is vital that the Program Assistant enjoys writing and can do so quickly and effectively
  • Fluency in written and spoken German/English
    • Office language: German
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to successfully prioritize and juggle responsibilities

You Will:

  •  Be an integral member of the team
  • Contribute to the overall success of Global Bridges’ projects throughout the world
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Chairpersons and support to the Program Director
  • Aide in the big-picture organization of Global Bridges’ events
    • including, but not limited to, various Global Forums and annual Study Trips
  • Maintain close contact with partners and organizations from around the world to coordinate event logistics from start to finish
  • Help to develop Global Bridges’ social media and communications efforts

For a recent graduate, working in Global Bridges’ small Berlin office provides invaluable exposure to its network of international professionals, the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the day-to-day operations of a German office, and the unique chance to witness international relations first hand.
